My debut thriller novel.

Per my agent’s demands, his bio must appear before mine.

My agent won't approve my bio photo until I've written a bestseller.

My Agent

I'm slightly relieved because he's judging you now too.

Agent Bio

My name is Mr. Mocha. I was born behind the Waffle House on Peachtree Street and minding my own business when the author straight-up abducted me. Now I sleep 18 hours a day like it’s my full-time job, and I enjoy yelling at nothing in particular around 5 a.m.—just to keep the household on its toes.

  1. I love to catfish birds on-line.

  2. I'm a Ragdoll and I wouldn't hurt a fly. (unless eating them counts)

  3. Never say 'No' to a Ragdoll. That's in the Old Testament.

  4. If I can see it, it's mine. (see #3 if confused)

  5. Order my handler's book or I'll starve.

Author Bio

My name is R.G. Middleton and I need to straighten out a few things my agent wrote. His bio is a complete fabrication. Does he look like he was born behind a Waffle House? And he's never going to starve because of the "Never Say 'No' to a Ragdoll" edict from God. (he completely made that up too).

You might be wondering why my agent is a cat. Fair question. The truth is, cats share a lot in common with the mythical creature known as the literary agent:
(1) They're elusive and nearly impossible to pin down,
(2) They have absolutely no problem ignoring you, and
(3) They hate belly rubs.
I’m going to assume real agents don’t like belly rubs either—not that I ever got close enough to test the theory. (Though believe me, I tried. Valiantly.)

Alright, time to put on my serious face. Surviving the corporate world left me with a reflexive sarcasm streak—think of it as my professional development plan gone rogue.Part supernatural thriller, part social reckoning—this story blurs genre lines with grit, heart, and a voice all its own. Beneath the chaos and creeping shadows, it’s ultimately a love story—about one man’s unwavering battle to save a fragile angel from the rising darkness.
